Flaming Gorge National Recreation area is one of the most beautiful unknown parks in America, located in N.W. Utah and S.W. Wyoming, bounded by Rock Springs and Green River in Wyoming to the north and by Vernal Utah to the South.
Sheep Creek Canyon is an awesome geological sight that is a must see, Sheep Creek Bay, Dowd Mountain and Red Canyon offer spectacular overlooks while Flaming Gorge Dam and the Cart Creek Bridge are tourist favorites.
Having provided a significant amount of photography to the U.S. Forest Service for their slide shows, posters and postcards I had the opportunity to view and photograph these spectacular places of beauty on a regular basis.
